CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS & JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUES
Submissions must conform to Springer's LNCS style and should not exceed 14 pages. Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.
The program committee may decide to accept a submission as a short paper if it reports interesting results, but does not justify a publication as a full paper.
All accepted papers including short papers will be published in Springer LNCS series.
Best papers will be invited for submission in special issues of the following Journals:
Computing, Springer Verlag (5-year Impact Factor: 1.144)
Computer Languages, Systems and Structures, Elsevier (5-year Impact Factor: 0.459)

IMPORTANT DATES:
Full paper submission: April 28, 2017
Notification of acceptance: June 20, 2017
Camera-ready Submission: July 6, 2017
Conference: October 4,5, and 6, 2017

Keynote Speakers
- Bernhard Rumpe (RWTH Aachen University, Germany) Advances in Model Language Engineering
- Panos Vassiliadis (University of Ioannina, Greece) Schema Evolution and Gravitation to Rigidity: a tale of calmness in the lives of structured data

ABOUT MEDI
The main objective MEDI conferences is to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and to promote the interaction and collaboration between both modelling and data research communities.
For its second time in Spain, MEDI 2017 conference will continue the tradition by providing a platform for researchers and practitioners form industry and academic to report recent technology trends and research results in Models & Data Engineering, as well applications in industrial contexts.

TOPICS
